Microsoft isn't ready to undo Windows 11's main design changes just yet, but it is experimenting with a few new customization options. In addition to the default setting, which balances the two, you may have the new Start menu show more pinned apps or more recommended apps and folders with the latest Windows 11 Insider build (22509).
